He is currently pursuing a combination Bachelors-Master of Arts in Teaching Leadership from Saint Mary’s University. “A coach is a teacher. My main goal as a coach is to ensure my players understand the game, and help them maximize their individual potential, in order to contribute to the team at the highest level. I stress the importance of sportsmanship; emphasize academics; encourage responsibility for one’s actions on and off the court; demand respect for teammates, coaches, opponents and officials; require players follow the rules; and most importantly, win or lose with dignity. I want every student athlete that comes through my program to recognize that just as in life, success in basketball comes from commitment, hard work and making good choices.

Good basketball is about knowing what to do in the game along with how to do it” – Coach Allison.
