Women’s Volleyball Head Coach
Coach Tianero has been Women’s Volleyball Head Coach since 2015. Prior to that, she volunteered for two seasons under coach Azure’D Nunley and served as assistant coach for five seasons under coach Azure’D Nunley.
She has also served as head volleyball coach at Pinole Valley High school for the 2011 season, at De Anza High School for 2014, and Richmond High School from 2016 to 2018. She also served as an assistant volleyball coach at Hercules High School for the 2015 season. Coach Tianero played at Contra Costa College from 2005 to 2006. She graduated with honors from CCC in 2007, then earned her bachelor’s degree at San Francisco State University.
Coach Tianero’s coaching philosophy is to foster growth in her athletes, and to mold the group of individuals to communicate, to be responsible, and to hold themselves accountable. She believes in nurturing their dreams and striving to reach their greatest potential on and off the court.
